I'm watching the Patroits-Bengals game seeing the Patriots using Junior Seau and Mike Varbel on offense in their goal line package. The Seahawks have trouble converting 3rd and 4th and shorts. Why not use Tatupu in the backfield in short-yardage situations.
You don't have to use him in every situation, just the ones that are deemed important. I know that Mack Strong is a good blocker but he's not getting any older and he hasn't done the job in these situations the last few years. Lineup Strong and Tatupu in the backfield with Alexander. It may be unconventional but I think it's at least worth a try.
